The Biggest Loser concluded. All the
contestants returned for a final weigh in to determine the winners of
the two big season prizes. The final four contestants weigh off for
the grand prize of $250,000 while the remaining fourteen contestants
compete for a $100,000 consolation prize.
Both prizes are for the contestant with the greatest percentage of
weight loss from their initial weigh in when the season began.
After all the before and after photos for the final fourteen and the
homecoming celebrations for our final four the weigh ins began. Here

From 9-11 p.m., the finale of THE BIGGEST LOSER 5 averaged a 4.6
rating, 13 share in adults 18-49 and 11.4 million viewers overall, to
dominate its time period with NBC's highest 18-49 rating in this time
period in more than 11 months (since January 2), according to
preliminary fast affiliate-based ratings from Nielsen Media Research.
In total viewers, it was NBC's biggest overall audience in the time
slot in nearly four months (since August 21). BIGGEST LOSER is #1 for
the time period in every key ratings category -- adults, men and
women 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54, plus total viewers. For the climactic
hour of 10-11 p.m., BIGGEST LOSER beat the ABC-CBS competition
combined in adults 18-49 plus adults, men and women 18-34 and other
key categories.
